TEFL Website Package Deal

After living in Spain for seven years, my wife and I are heading back to Australia for a while. Although I won’t be teaching English there, I want to remain involved in the industry. That’s why I’m returning to my former work—building websites—this time specifically tailored to the needs of EFL teachers.

This website is currently in its final beta phase as I polish features and eliminate bugs before the official launch. Please provide feedback so that I can make the site as useful as possible for over-worked and under-appreciated English language teachers like you (and me).

An All-In-One Solution for independent TEFL teachers in Spain at an affordable price.

Fast, highly functional websites packed with useful extras for:

875€

(as we will be based outside the EU)

ZERO IVA

To further ease the pain, payments can be split into three interest-free instalments: a 125€ deposit, a 375€ payment when the website is ready (usually 4–6 weeks, with the possibility to defer this payment by another month if you need to), and the remaining 375€ in November, allowing you time to secure paying students.

Hosting and Maintenance The package includes 12 months of hosting with a service boasting 99.9% uptime, to which we add an extra layer of uptime monitoring. Themes and plugins will be regularly updated, and automatic backups will be performed at least twice a week.

Responsive Design
Your site will look good on any device.
As of February 2025, desktop computers still accounted for over 37% of web traffic in Spain. Many web designers focus on the desktop version because, frankly, designing for a larger screen is satisfying and offers more real estate to work with. Your website must look great on a computer monitor but without slow loading caused by bloated code or unoptimised images.

Personally, I use my tablet for almost everything except work, yet studies consistently show that tablets contribute less than 2% of traffic. Anyway, your site will look great on tablets too.

People are voting with their thumbs
Over 60% of website traffic comes from mobile phones. Google prioritises a “Mobile First” approach, where page speed and ease of navigation affect search rankings. Consequently, your website needs to be fast and fully functional when operated with one hand.

Page Speed
A fast website is essential—not only to improve user experience but also because Google factors page speed into its rankings. Slow websites have higher bounce rates, which negatively impact rankings. Our websites achieve “Fast” ratings of 90+ for both desktop and (the much harder to achieve) mobile on Google’s PageSpeed Insights.

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
Between 2008 and 2016, Di and I operated photographyworkshops.com.au in Sydney, consistently ranking on the first page of Google. For most of that time, our secondary portal, andypiggott.com, also maintained a first-page presence—occasionally, we held the top two spots.

As part of the 875€ package, I will perform essential localised SEO on your site—including the use of H2 tags, proper hierarchy, internal links, and an XML sitemap.

While search engine algorithms have evolved—and AI is now reshaping them—quality content remains central to ranking success. Engaged visitors who spend more time on your site boost its search relevance and are far more likely to book a class.

Blog
A regularly updated blog with fresh, relevant posts is a fantastic asset that enhances credibility and authority. See “Grow Your English Course Business with a Blog – English Profe” for more details. If visitors read an article rather than leaving immediately, Google interprets the content as valuable and rates your site accordingly.

To get the ball rolling, our package includes a blog section (if you choose) with three free relevant articles ready for scheduling. I have already written and stockpiled numerous posts from which you can choose, including titles such as:

(Note: Consistent posting is more important than frequency.)

Fully Customisable
Our websites are fully customisable, designed to be fast, functional, and easy to navigate. Design elements such as images, fonts, and colours can be changed to suit your preferences. We will advise you on font pairings and colour combinations to ensure both aesthetic appeal and readability.

This sample website includes pages for Business English, Exam Preparation, Conversation Classes, English for Travellers, and a Kids’ Class. If you have other ideas for courses, these can be incorporated as needed. (Note: The Kids’ Class is not listed on the Services page, as it may not be feasible for those without appropriate facilities.)

You may supply the text in English, Spanish, or both, and I will adjust it for SEO before you approve it. You can use just your own images or supplement them with our range of high-quality, royalty-free images (up to 10 free images per site).

Bilingual Sites
The majority of English class websites in Spain are monolingual and written entirely in Spanish, which works well for non-English-speaking parents booking courses for their children. However, our sites are bilingual. Most visitors will land on the Spanish version and find everything they need—but an English version is also very worthwhile.

An English version demonstrates that you are a native speaker, caters to native English speakers with non-English-speaking partners and children, and allows intermediate and advanced students to practise their skills on your site. (Personally, having passed the C1 exam in both French and Spanish, I preferred all content to be in the target language while preparing for exams.)

For Those with Basic Spanish
As part of the 875€ package, I will translate your English pages into Spanish. Every translation will be proofread and thoroughly checked by a university-educated native Spanish speaker before publication. Naturally, once the website is live, contact forms, emails, and messages will be in Spanish. Thankfully, with tools like Google Translate, DeepL (a personal favourite), and ChatGPT, managing this is easy. After all, you’re offering your expertise in English, not Spanish!

Bookings
Visitors can make bookings directly on the site and receive immediate confirmation, while you also receive their booking details. New clients can be directed to a form where they choose the type of class (e.g., Cambridge C1, Business English) and complete a level test. You can set your availability and block out times for free time, holidays, or travel.

As well as a booking form with calendar, there is also a general Contact form. I recommend that we include a Testimonial/Review section for ‘Social Proof’. If you are new to the industry you might not have any yet. Just ask your students to write a review, if you’ve done your job well you’ll get what you need!

Compliance
The website includes the necessary pages to comply with EU regulations, including:
